Our arrival in Nassau - November 14, 2007

We arrived on November 14th to a sunny Nassau. The last 4 weeks have been a whirlwind, and we have seen God's hand in all of it. He has provided where we didn't think it would be possible. Each day we continue to see his provisions for our family. David began his first official day at The Adventure Learning Centre last Monday, December 3rd. He hasn't stopped since. Between getting settled in our house and the continuous needs at the Centre, he hasn't had much time for anything else.We have been attending Bahamas Faith Ministries, Dr. Myles Munroe's church here on the island. We have enjoyed hearing Dr. Munroe in person after reading some of the wonderful books he has written. The worship at this church has been amazing and so inspiring. Our oldest son, Adam, arrives here on Friday with his girlfriend Ashley. Ashley will stay with us for a week while we try to show her the entire island and all that it has to offer. She will get the chance to observe the Centre in action we hope. Ashley will fly home to have Christmas with her family, while Adam stays an additional week to spend Christmas with us. Then he will fly back to PA to visit with friends and family before his next semester starts.Thank you for your prayers as we delve into what God has called us to. Once the New Year starts, David will get the chance to find out first-hand what the maintenance priorities are at ALC and begin to work toward their completion. Travis and Martin are enjoying getting the chance to work with their dad side-by-side again. Hunter is getting the chance to work and feed the animals in the "zoo" here.We will be back in touch on this blog, and hope to post pictures as soon as we learn more. Love you all.
